Tools, Dies & Punches

MGM Manufacturing specializes in producing the highest quality detailed high-speed progressive and stamping dies. Our highly trained professional tool and die makers with a combined experience of 100 years utilize our precision 4 & 5-Axis CNC machining resources to manufacturing long lasting dies to exacting standards and close tolerances. The dies we produce range from 5″ up to 80″ in length from numerous different alloys.

Likewise, MGM Manufacturing has also produced an entire array of custom-made build-to-print, high precision tools, punches, presses, heavy-duty liners from different alloys of Tool Steel including; A-2, P-2, H-13, D-2, O-1, P-20, and S-7 Tool Steel. Typically these custom-made products can be as large as 80″ in length, 25″ in diameter and 6,500 lbs. in weight. Some of the industries we serve include; raw metal mills, plastic and paper mills, plastic injection mold companies, aerospace firms, automotive companies, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, the oil and gas companies as well as other metal fabrication companies.

One of our very unique capabilities are to re-produce older or obsolete tools and dies that are no longer produced by OEMs. We utilize our state-of-the-art coordinate measuring equipment to reverse engineer your older tools and dies– then recreate new products that will be of the highest quality for your usage. In addition we welcome lower volume or prototype tools, dies, punches and presses that most tool and die manufacturers do not care to produce for their clientele.

Complex Custom Molds

MGM Manufacturing provides an array of high quality custom-made molds for small and simple components as well as complex large components to various rubber, plastic and metal injection companies. Our quality molds are manufactured specifically for both our customers’ small and dedicated long-run production projects. We pay close attention to detail and employ a manufacturing discipline to create precision molds that provide you the customer with the benefits of interchangeability of such components. These long term benefits enable MGM to furnish our customers with lower maintenance costs, longer mold life, and more consistent product quality.

Some our mold making capabilities include producing; multi-cavity molds, unscrewing molds, closure molds, hot-runner molds, spin stack molds, plastic container molds, thermo-plastic molds, rubber and silicone injection molds and metal injection molds. Shear Blades

MGM Manufacturing produces a wide range of custom-made heavy-duty industrial Shear Blades and other blades for various industries. Our precision CNC produced blades are build-to-print per our customers’ specific design requirements that measure up to 80” in length and 40” in diameter. One of our key specialties are in producing blades for our customers with out dated equipment. Our blades are produced from an array of Tool Steels including;

Likewise MGM Manufacturing works closely with our valued suppliers to have your Shear blades heat treated and ground to their exact specifications. Our quality system also enables us to check Rockwell hardness on each blade and also utilize the state-of-the-art “Magnaflux” testing to ensure that our customers’ Shear Blades are not cracked or damaged following the manufacturing process. This gives our customers peace of mind that are receiving the highest quality Shear Blades prior to shipment.
